The conventional operation modes of single girder crane can be divided into two types: driving (also known as aerial exercise) and ground operation.


Driving exercise is the abbreviation of cab operation, that is, the operator goes up the escalator to the crane cab for operation. The advantage of driving is that it is almost free from the restriction of the ground environment, and the operator has a better view. You can sit in the cab and work relatively easily. The drawbacks are: special operators are needed; ground personnel are needed to cooperate; ground personnel are required to direct when large pieces are dropped or when accurate lifting is needed; accidents are easy to occur; and the cost of the cab is relatively high.


Ground drilling is the operation of the ground operator through the stripline control button box drawn from the control box. The advantage is that the operator does not need to climb to the crane, simple operation can be completed by one operator, which can save personnel, save intermediate command and improve work efficiency. The disadvantage is: because of the belt operation, the operator needs to walk synchronously with the crane, the labor intensity is high, the walking route is limited by the ground conditions, and can not avoid the obstacles on the ground. When lifting large pieces, the operator needs to operate close to the lifting parts, which has greater danger. At the same time, it is impossible to avoid toxic, harmful and polluting occasions.
